We are very ordinary. We live in an old cottage, in a damp little village, on the Mendip Hills. One of us is worried about their blood pressure, another is worried about their knees. The third member is worried about the other two. One of us makes wooden surfboards, one of us is a therapeutic counsellor. The third member would describe themselves as dazzling, and they carry the other two.

We decided to write a book to help process some of our thoughts and feelings on a journey looking for answers, and to encourage others to go on their own odysseys.

The account of our journey is largely chronological; each chapter describes the events of the day and what we discovered.
